Michael-John Voss joined Reinert Weishaar & Associates, P.C. in the summer of 2010. After graduating from the University of Illinois in 2001, he moved to Taiwan, R.O.C. to study Chinese and work as a language instructor. In 2002, he returned to the U.S. and received his Master's Degree in Library and Information Science. He graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2009. During law school Mr. Voss was exposed to a variety of areas of law, serving as a law clerk for the firm now known as Reinert Weishaar & Associates P.C., as an intern in the litigation division of the Missouri Attorney General's St. Louis Office, and as law clerk in the Housing Division of Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Voss is well versed in business and legal research strategies.
Mr. Voss has a longstanding commitment to public service; he volunteered with Legal Services of Eastern Louisiana in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and is a co-founder of the ArchCity Defenders, a non-profit, holistic legal defense organization in St. Louis. Through his experiences with different cultures and groups of people he has come to appreciate diversity in viewpoints, and constantly attempts to look at issues from multiple perspectives.
Mr. Voss's hobbies include marathon training, bird watching, and gardening.
