Boris Kaupp completed his legal studies in his native Germany before moving to the United States, where he earned a Master of Laws degree in American Law and a Certificate in International and Comparative Law at Saint Louis University. He was also a participant in the 1994 ERASMUS Program for Comparative Law held at the University of Catania in Italy. While at Saint Louis University, Mr. Kaupp was a member of the International Law Society. Upon graduation from Law School in St. Louis, he completed an internship at the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

Mr. Kaupp draws on his broad educational and professional experience and is able to apply that experience to the practice in business and commercial litigation, international transactions, fidelity and surety bond claims and litigation and construction law. He has authored and presented several papers at national and international conferences and is fluent in German and English and competent in Italian. Mr. Kaupp regularly goes back to Germany for brief visits. He is an avid sports fan, particularly when it comes to international soccer.
